Lizard Flare Reviews

Lizard Flare is an emergency roadside flare that uses LED lights instead of flame or other types of combustion. It is advertised on television as a durable and reliable product that can withstand harsh conditions. Here are some of the top and worst Lizard Flare reviews, as well as reviews from experts.

Top Lizard Flare Reviews

Many customers have given Lizard Flare positive reviews, praising its durability and brightness. According to Amazon customer reviews, the product is easy to use and has a long battery life. One customer stated that the magnetic base of the flare was strong enough to attach to a moving vehicle, and another customer said that the flare was visible from over a mile away.

Worst Lizard Flare Reviews

Despite many positive reviews, there are some negative reviews of Lizard Flare. Some customers have reported that the product did not work as advertised or that the battery life was shorter than expected.

I don’t know what the manufacturer used to attach the screws to the back of the device but it was impossible to turn them to remove the screws to add the 3 AAA batteries. Ditto, the hook/handle was exceedingly difficult to access & pull out for use on the back. This unit is very poorly designed.

If I was stranded by the side of the road in an emergency and feeling anxious about that (with shaky hands) there’d be no way I could either replace batteries or easily get the hook sprung out to use it.

One customer stated that the magnetic base was not strong enough to hold the flare in place, and another customer reported that the product stopped working after a few uses.

Lizard Flare Reviews from Experts

Experts have also reviewed Lizard Flare and provided their opinions on the product. Freakin’ Reviews, a website that reviews As Seen on TV products, tested Lizard Flare and found that the product was durable and bright. However, they also noted that the magnetic base was not as strong as advertised and that the product was more expensive than other emergency flares on the market.

The light comes as advertised and works brightly. Setting 4 is the best as it would certainly catch a drivers eye, which you want. The item had two issues of concern. First the back came off differently then the instructions indicated. It does come off easily but not as first expected. The instructions also say it takes 2 C cell batteries. Not true, it takes 3 AAA batteries. I think the instructions included are for a different device altogether as nothing in them made sense. Bottom line is batteries added and back panel screwed back on, the light works as advertised!”. The majority of the customers (70%) have given it a 5-star rating, praising its durability, brightness, and versatility. 17% of the customers have given it a 4-star rating, while 8% have given it a 3-star rating, expressing minor concerns about its price and charging time. Only a small percentage of customers (2%) have given it a 2-star rating, while 3% have given it a 1-star rating, mainly due to issues with the product’s charging or durability. Overall, the Lizard Flare Flameless Roadside Emergency Light has received positive reviews from customers, with the majority of them highly recommending it
